LG Innotek Showcases Futuristic Mobility Innovations at CES 2025

LG Innotek has unveiled its latest mobility innovations at CES 2025, taking place from January 7 to 10 in Las Vegas. The company is showcasing cutting-edge automotive technologies designed to redefine future mobility.

Positioned at the entrance of the West Hall in the Las Vegas Convention Center, LG Innotek’s 3,500-square-meter booth centers on the theme of advanced mobility. The exhibition highlights 15 components for vehicle sensing, communication, and lighting, providing visitors a glimpse into the vehicles of tomorrow.

AD/ADAS Sensing: A Leap Forward in Safety

One of the highlights is the RGB-IR In-Cabin Camera Module, making its global debut. Equipped with a dual 5-megapixel RGB and infrared sensor, the camera monitors both drivers and passengers in real time. This innovation addresses critical safety concerns, such as driver drowsiness and seatbelt compliance for all passengers.

Additionally, the company is showcasing its All-Weather Camera Solution, which integrates dust-cleaning and heating capabilities to ensure optimal performance in challenging conditions.

These sensing components reflect LG Innotek’s commitment to enhancing safety and functionality in autonomous driving (AD) and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Communication and Lighting: Redefining Connectivity

LG Innotek’s booth also highlights advancements in vehicle communication, including the 5G-V2X Communication Module and the Next-Generation Digital Key Solution. The latter employs Ultra-Wideband (UWB) radar technology, enabling seamless and secure vehicle access.

The Automotive AP Module is another significant addition. Designed for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs), it acts as the “brain” of a car, managing systems like ADAS and digital cockpits.

In lighting, the award-winning Nexlide A+ and Nexlide Vision stand out. Nexlide Vision combines pixel lighting with Smart Film technology, offering dynamic text and animation effects for vehicle lighting. This innovation enhances design flexibility, catering to automakers’ evolving needs.

Innovations in Electric Vehicle Systems

LG Innotek is also introducing B-Link, the world’s first integration of a wireless Battery Management System (BMS) and Battery Junction Box (BJB). Designed for electric vehicles, this compact solution optimizes battery space usage while supporting 400V and 800V charging systems.
