Kapil Kajal is an award-winning journalist with over a decade of experience covering defense, aerospace, and technology. Kapil previously served as Asia Pacific Land Warfare Reporter at Janes, where he covered missiles, air defense, and ground combat modernisation across the region, conducting interviews with defense ministers, army chiefs, and senior industry officials. Before Janes, he worked as a freelance journalist with Al Jazeera, National Geographic, Nikkei Asia, Mongabay, Rest of World, and Third Pole, reporting across politics, environment, technology, and conflict. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media, Bangalore, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Lingayas University.
